The_Beer_God (2797), Newport News, Virginia, USA Oct 8, 2006 Draft at Rock Bottom Denver. Translucent gold. Nose is hot peppers but it’s a restrained pepper aroma and not overdone, thankfully. Taste is peppery but rather drinkable. Soft pepper flavors, light malts and light spice. Body is light with a lingering peppery flavor. Light carbonation as well. Ends with more pepper flavors and spice. Rather nice and it complimented my jambalaya well. MIBRomeo (1832), Wisconsin, USA Oct 2, 2006 On tap during GABF.
Apple juice colored ppour w/ a full white head and some light lacing. Aroma of fresh poblano skins quite spicy peppers are all that really come through but very nicely. Palate is light fluffy and has a decent coating. Flavor is nicely done not over spiced just a great peppered flavor mostly poplano skins. Decent little peppered beer.
