Lumpy (1530), Carrollton, Texas, USA Jan 23, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Golden red body with a foamy ½ inch head. Nose-straw, husk, macro. Taste-better than the nose, mild, light tea, low to medium bitter, very good tasting wood, straw, husk. A very well crafted bitter that is the quintessential session beer. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 6, 2005 Cask-conditioned: Lasting stable beige head covers the dark reddish brown hue. Very earthy nose offers toasted grain and cereal gradations among which floral and herbal hops feel a bit staleish and soapy. Interestingly woody in practice, apricot tapped. Medium bodied, oily texture, mostly sweet. erway (1001), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA May 3, 2004 I give this such a high rating because most would consider this an ordinary beer. This is a perfect session beer. On draught. Pours a nice amber with a creamy head. Slight notes of EKG in the nose with some sweet maltiness. A very good mouthfeel and a great bitter finish. This is a perfectly made bitter, a style more brewers have to try there hand at.
