Commercial Description:
India pale ale, copper-colored and rich in character. Floral hop aromas supported by a toasty malt profile balance this eclectic favorite. Editor's Note: This is one of Rock Bottom's standard brews and is available at several locations.

From the Braintree, Ma location. Good nose bitter, piney nose. Hazy orange amber color. Bitter nutty with just enough, I'd like more, carmely malt flavor. Leaves a nice long aftertaste. Chinook hops used in dry hopping. Brewer Scott Brunelle has a winner here.

On tap at GIBF in Providence RI: Clean white head, honey amber hue. Slightly floral aroma. Pale malt flavor, light to medium bodied, with a big long lingering piney, resinous hoppy finish. Decent.

Go to Rock Bottom in Harvard Sq on Thursday Night. Listen to Citron play tunes and this will get you FUCKED up. The overly bitter aftertaste disappears after the first beer. 10/10/02. Just went to Rockbottom again. Figured out why I got so drunk. It’s 6.1% and all the other beers there are in the 4’s or low 5’s.

This is a pretty strong beer, but not overly strong tasting. It’s a very good IPA.

On Tap and on cask, 7/6/02 Cambridge, MA: Heavy pine aroma, syrupy palate, clear light orange color, bitter throughout. The cask version certainly has an extra hops kick, and typical cask-like differences otherwise. On tap Boston Beer Summit '02: Hazy orange color, nice hoppy taste. It got more bitter as I drank it.
