Commercial Description:
India pale ale, copper-colored and rich in character. Floral hop aromas supported by a toasty malt profile balance this eclectic favorite. Editor's Note: This is one of Rock Bottom's standard brews and is available at several locations.

On tap at Rock Bottom King of Prussia. Poured a medium copper color with a small off white head. Aromas of citris, hops and light malts. Light sweet and light bitter balance. Tastes and smells a little on the week side for the way I like my IPAs.

Pours copper, with aromas of hops, malt, citrus. Tastes hoppy, with a nice malty backbone, and finishes crisp, hoppy, and solid.

Tasted at the King of Prussia location... Poured an amber color that had a small head. Slight hop taste and a thin mouthfeel.

Had on tap at the KOP Rock Bottom (called Prussias Pride IPA at KOP location). Pours a nice amber with an average white head. Slighty dry hopped with more of a piney aroma and taste than floral hops. Decent IPA, but not great. 5-4-6-3-13 Also had this on cask at the KOP location. Picked up more floral hops and orange in the casked version. Also the head was much nicer and stayed around the entire time. Better on cask.

On tap at the Bethesda location. Cloudy dark gold in color with a white head. Strong finishing hop aroma of Cascades. Has a greater hop flavor than the pale ale. Nice bitter palate. Citrus is pronounced. Not a beer for hopheads, so don’t expect too much. Nice, but not great.

Tasted at the Cincinnati location. Dark orange/amber color with a medium thin off-white head. Very thin lacing. Strong hops aroma, with a little citrus as well. Rather rich with an aggressively bitter hops flavor and a tart finish. One of Rock Bottom's better beers.

A very typical and boring IPA, a cloudy and unfiltered appearance that is orange and very light. Zesty aroma that is lightly hoppy in the flavor, but the mustiness is ever present, and extremely astringent in the finish.

Copperish brown, small but dense kahki head. Nice clean, fresh aroma. A good hop "pop" right up front, but nothing very interesting after that. OK, not spectacular or anything like that. Great Atlanta Pub Crawl, 2004. (Took notes, but I couldn't find it in the data base until now. I can be a bit dense that way.)
