Aug 25, 2005 Big banana ester and yeas aroma. Looks like orange juice - hazy opaque orange-yellow. Acidic, tangy, citrus even without the lemon. Good mouth. Acidic, grainy medium quick finish. Banana taffee carbonation. Pretty decent.

Jul 31, 2005 On tap @ R.B. Westminster poured a cloudy yejjow with a white head. Aromas of bananas and bubblegum. Flavors of bananas and citrus with a hint of spice.

Jul 7, 2005 This beer has a frothy white head that sits atop a beer that is fully hazy and a straw color. The aroma has notes of clove and a bit of banana, plus there are some spritzy wheat notes as well. The beer is soft and creamy up front with a bit of acidity that reminds me of lemons. There is also a bit of phenolic astringency in the finish. I definitely like the soft fruitiness that is found here as well as the spicy character from the wheat in the finish. This is a pretty good example of a German Hefeweizen.

Cloudy lemon yellow with a good head and lacing.
Heavy aroma of banana lemon and citrus.
Flavor is all lemon, citrus, pineapple and banana.
Nice tangy finish.

Mar 9, 2005 Served w/out a lemon in an English Imperial pint. Pours a cloudy med. yellow with a tight glossy head. Heavy esters of bubblegum, cinnamon, clove and banana. Thin body. Served way too cold. Tangy, cold and fruity. As it warmed I noticed slight phenols. No hops. Not bad, but nothing special.

Oct 15, 2004 (Ahwatukee) R.B. No lemon squeezed into this beer. Pours a cloudy yellow, thin head. Very spiced (cloves, incense), banana, citrus (lemon/orange), yeast elements, which tasted somewhat like sunscreen. All the flavors went together very well. Pleasant surprise.

Aug 19, 2004 Excellent hef. in my opinion. Everything is as advertised...banana, clove etc. yet it has a crisp and clean finish. Very tasty with a faint banana aroma and a med. foamy white head. Those bubbles just keep on coming, giving it a very crisp appearance also. If you’re not sure, ask for a sample...they’re big on samples.
