Poured into a pint glass from the tap. The color is red amber with a white head The smell is slightly muted with flavors of hops, caramel, and some mild malt. The taste was somewhat fruity with a bitter hop feel to it. Some spicy feel to the beer. Overall the beer was easy to drink and was a little crisp. Not too heavy.

on tap in scottsdale. listed at 4.8% abv, "bready, dry and crisp".

coppery brown colored pour with a frothy off white head and lots of spotty lacing. the aroma is a faint mix of caramel, toasted pale grain and some orange. the flavor shares the same characteristics along with a bit of straw, cooked carrots and a dirty, earthy, bready finish. there is nothing wrong with it other than being bland. it has an easy drinking light to medium body which is refreshing and well suited for food. 5/3/5/3/13/2.9

From the KoP brewery. Poured translucent copper with a thin white head. Nose was hoppy, sweet licorice, and malty. flavor was hoppy sweet, maple, vanilla, oak, licorice, malty. Somewhat peppery carbonation but less so than their king’s wit. I found it to be very reminiscent of Fuller’s esb but not quite as good.

Draught at RB King of Prussia; Listed as an ESB: Aroma of hops, citrus, light malts, and maybe Amarillo hops. Poured amber/orange in color with a small, dense, off-white head. Slightly hazy. Slightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of hops, pale malts, water, and Amarillo hops. Medium body. Thin, watery texture. Average carbonation. Dry, hoppy finish.

This draft brew from the College Park location in Indianapolis, IN poured a small sized head of medium to large sized mostly diminishing off-white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent softly carbonated dark orange colored body with a frothy top and a fair lacing. The mild thin red malt flavor contained a soft hop backing. The aroma was mild with malt-hop notes.

Draft at College Park location, Indianapolis, IN and an ABV of 5.6%. Small tan head that mostly lasted, good amount of lacing, transparent, no carbonation observed, and a red hue. Nose was malty, caramel and hoppy. Ditto for the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel and light in body. A very easy, smooth beer to drink and nicely balanced.

On tap at the College Park pub. Mahagony red with a sticky white head. Lightly hopped nose. Caramel sweetness with sharp pine hops and a hint of orange juice that grows in the finish. Some lightly burnt grain taste.
