Very thin and watered-down amber ale, to the point that I really had no idea what they were shooting for with this beer. Very unremarkable drink.

On tap at the KOP location and billed as a malty ESB. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with a creamy/bubbly off white lightly lacing head. Aroma of malt, sweet toffee, some nuts and caramel. Flavor of toffee, nuts, toasted malts, slight hop bitterness.

Serving: Draught sample.
Location: Rock Bottom Brewery (Cincinnati)

Tasting Notes
Aroma: Lightly hoppy.
Appearance: Hazy/murky light amber color with a dense, creamy head with good, thick lacing.
Flavor: Caramel and lightly nutty with a dry, hoppy finish. Mild to moderate level of sweetness.
Palate: Average (medium body and smooth).
Overall: An average Amber Ale that has been dry hopped. Nothing more, nothing less. Somewhat drinkable, but definitely would not be my first pick of amid all the offerings.

Tasting Notes (Cask)
Aroma: Weak, hoppy aroma.
Appearance: Similar light amber color with a thin, frothy head that leaves some light lacing.
Flavor: Dry and hoppy. Earthy and grassy hop flavors. Mild bitterness.
Palate: Medium body. Very smooth.
Overall: Good. I liked the cask version better than the regular one.

Not very interesting flavor. I had hoped for better out of a new one I had in a sampler. Low hop flavor

On tap in Bellevue. Pours a clear bright copper with a fading but lacy white head. Pine and grapefruit hop aroma, backed up by a dollup of sweet malt. Medium body and moderate carbonation. The style math for this beer says "APA," it’s right in there between Amber and IPA. Lightly sweet taste of fruit, citrus and caramel with a crisp, bitter finish.

Draft @ Rock Bottom King of Prussia - amber pour with medium white head. Light malty-caramel aroma with hints of Brit hops. Taste was a nice cross between ESB and amber. Decent & sessionable.

Draft in Indy in May 06. Amber color with a medium white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sweet balanced aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture. Medium sweet balanced flavor with a sweet finish of short duration. Average drinkable brew.

From 2006 Rock Bottom College Park(Indianapolis). A clear amber red color with creamy tan head. The aroma is a lighter malt aroma, a bit nutty and of chalky malts. It’s a clean aroma but a bit bland. It has a prickly toasted malt flavor. A bit of an earthy, peaty malt tops an overall general dirtyness in the malt. Husky comes to mind as does some roasted ness as I notice the medium-thin body on the finish.
