Sampled on 6/25/07 at RB Milwaukee: Pours a cloudy hazy golden with a clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet wheat and lemony citrus along with some spicy clove. Body starts with a nice wheaty sweetness and some tart lemon with big clove flavor and bready yeast throughout. Finishes crisp and clean with good authenticity.

Bethesda. Hazy, opaque pale body with a small white head. The aroma is fairly sweet, cotton candy, banana, clove and bubblegum. The flavor is also fairly sweet, bread, cotton candy, bubblegum and light herbal hops. Medium body is dense and sticky with light carbonation.

Cask in Colorado Springs. Pours light yellow with a large, creamy, white head, somewhat diminishing, excellent lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, straw), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough) with notes of banana and clove. Light bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation and a chalky finish. Short duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Draft at King of Prussia. Hazy gold pour with aroma and flavor of hopcitrus, banana, clove, some Bazooka, and a crisp finish. Good lacing and a pronouinced fruitiness make this one decent.

On tap @ the brew pub: Opaque yellow gold in color with a white head. Aroma, lemon, wheat, spices, and some yeast. Flavor, chewy, spices, yeast, lemon and wheat. I swear if Facto’s glass had been big enough you could walk on this beer. It was dark lord esque.

On tap at Rock Bottom Minneapolis before the RBSG 2007 Surly tour, end of the barrel. Mine was poured first and looked better than the lemonaid served to others. Pepper in the nose, wheaty citrus on the tongue with slight dried bananas.
