Draught at the brewpub. Thankfully it was served sans lemon. Hazy yellow color with white head that laced the glass. Smelled of banana, clove, and light yeasty bread dough. Flavor was similar with some spiciness on the tongue. Dry and citrusy.

Tap Warrenville- A hazy yellow brew with a decent head retention with an aroma of banana and clove. A taste of a decent hefe with clove and banana. Not bad for RB.

Tap at the Milwaukee location. Cloudy golden-straw body, foamy white head. Cove esters and sweet wheat malt int eh nose. Lightly sweet wheat malt flavor (light apple fruit) under some husk astringency, banana, clove; minimal hop flavor. A refreshing summer beer - perfect for this 90 degree day. A well-done hefe to boot.

Draught, Rock Bottom Westminster. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with light notes of banana and clove. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A rather paint-by-numbers hefe, uninteresting.

Sample at the brewery. Beer pours a hazy, light yellow color with a small, white, mostly and quickly diminishing head. The aroma is malty with a light note of toasted grain and dominated by moderately weighty notes of banana, clove and honey with a trace of corn. The flavor was moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderately bitter with a long, moderately acidic, lightly bittersweet finish with a slightly unclean, husky aftertaste. The body was light the texture was watery and the carbonation was average.

Lackluster beer, pours out a straw loking yellow with small head. Aroma had small hints of bananna, grainy, wheatiness too. Flavor is very thin on....flavor basically. Big grain, hints of the bananna.

Not impressed. Typical Rock Bottom. Aroma seemed a bit off and it was slightly too bitter. Had a musty aftertaste. It was drinkable but not one of my favorites.
