| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 6, 2005 Cloudy, muted pale yellow with a thin, creamy white head. Aroma profile consists of bananas, mild cloves, sweet hollandaise sauce, grain and vanilla. Light and thin at first touch, receding to lemons, coriander and canned corn juice. Washes off the palate quite rapidly, leaving a light banana crème composure, but it’s far from creamy. Finishes with a kiss of lingering clover. Earlier Rating: 7/12/2005 Total Score: 3.3 Cloudy, bright gold in color. Prominent banana smell overrides all other elements. Pale and thin is the first impression, but it’s then accompanied by a decent palate feel and flavor. Vanilla, banana and cloves predominate a citric lemon slickness and some suggestive orange peels. Decent rendition, especially considering that my sample came from the Milwaukee location. FROTHINGSLOSH (2037), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

It poured a cloudy pale yellow with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma is light sweet malts. The mouthfeel was moderately thick for a hefeweizen. There was a strong grainy element with noticeable wheat moderate citrus and strong banana elements. The finish was dry citrus. A respectable hefe. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Poured a light to medium, lightly hazy, yellow color with a small white head. Lighter and more clear than most Hefeweizen I’ve had so far. Tastes and aromas of bananas and cloves.

On tap at the Milwaukee Location. Poured cloudier than the one I had at KoP. Aromas and tastes of bananas, cloves, fruits, and some wheat in the tastes. Without looking, I rated this one exactly the same. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
