Feb 7, 2003 Dark Yellow unfiltered Hef with a frothy head. Wheaty aroma with a floral note. A bit of banana aroma and clove. Fruity flavors with clove and also a touch floral. Lots of flavors but, not a ton of balance in them.

Oct 1, 2003 Had this at the 2003 GABF. Sweet aroma of wheat and bananas. Coloration is a nice yellow. Flavor is wheaty with banana - I liked it. Average mouthfeel.

Sep 8, 2007 Sampled on 6/25/07 at RB Milwaukee: Pours a cloudy hazy golden with a clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet wheat and lemony citrus along with some spicy clove. Body starts with a nice wheaty sweetness and some tart lemon with big clove flavor and bready yeast throughout. Finishes crisp and clean with good authenticity.

Feb 1, 2008 Quite a nice heffe. Deep golden and hazy with a light creamy head--just what a heffe should be, no? Banana dominates the nose, with that same fruity flavor coming to the fore, with a nice back stop of orange peel and coriander, and citrus hops coming through in the end.

Jun 18, 2006 Tap at the Milwaukee location. Cloudy golden-straw body, foamy white head. Cove esters and sweet wheat malt int eh nose. Lightly sweet wheat malt flavor (light apple fruit) under some husk astringency, banana, clove; minimal hop flavor. A refreshing summer beer - perfect for this 90 degree day. A well-done hefe to boot.
