Very little taste, much more like a macro than good beer, although it is not offensive. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

What brew a Kolsch when it is indistinguishable from an American standard? Shame on them. (at Minneapolis location) robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 1, 2007 On tap at the Pittsburgh Rock Bottom. Looks like a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Smell is simply just beery like plain old lager beer. Taste has an off normal slight sour taste. Seems to have an alky bite to it, more than the 4.7% listed here. Has a different personality than the other Rock Bottom beers I’ve tasted so far. Not quite as light as other kolsch brews I’ve tasted. OK to have tasted this once but probably would not go for this again. On par with Schell Zommerfest. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nose of spicy Euro hops and grassy, crisp refreshingly cereal maltiness. Low alcohol. Easy drinking. Highly sessionable. Yum!
