Growler from the brewpub in Milwaukee: Not bad for style if not a bit light in body, well balanced beer with a hoppy aftertaste

Pours dark copper, very clear, with a smooth white head. The waitress said this was on cask, but I think it was really on nitro due to the smoothness of the head and body. Very nice malt flavor up front, slightly earthy tone to it, caramel, and a light chocolate hint. Finish was fruity with a light hopping. This finished very clean and smooth leaving your palate wanting more.

Clear brown, white creamy head. Very light sweet nose of brown sugar and cherry brandy. Flavor was light as well with notes of earth, chocolate and another hint of cherry. Light bodied, medium carbonation, soft malty finish. Maybe my batch was off. Just seemed disjointed. Pretty disappointed with this one since all the others were decent....

A very nice Scottish ale, deep brown in color, soft & fluffly tan head, lots of malt in the nose with hints of chocolate & roasted nuts, full bodied, sweet body of flavors with notes of alcohol, caramel & dark chocolate with a nicely balanced profile of hops, very well-rounded beer, very smooth finish with a little more touch of alcohol & malt

On tap at the KoP location [10oz]. Poured a dark brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate, caramel, nutty and lightly earthy. Tastes of chocolate, caramel, and nutty. Didn’t get the typical peat / smokiness - this one was had a stronger chocolate quality in both the aromas and tastes. Light lacing left on the glass. Lively body.

Pours a deep brown with some red coming through. Average bubbly/foamy head that left some lace. Aroma of sweet grainy maltiness wiht lots of caramel and some various fruits. Flavor was also malty as expected, grains, some dark fruits, caramel and even a bit spicy.
