Cask at KOP BrewPub: Aroma of bourbon, wood, alcohol, oak, and scotch malts. Poured amber/brown in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that lasted throughout. Slightly hazy. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of bourbon, oak, vanilla, malts, slight toffee, and slight alcohol. Light to medium body. Thin, then slightly chalky texture. Cask carbonation. Sweet, bourbon and maple syrup finish.

Hand pump at KOP location. Pours a mostly translucent copper with a medium creamy off white head. Aroma of a bunch of dark fruits, caramel, vanilla, light smoke, toffee, oak and bourbon. Flavor of light smoked malt, toffee, caramel, dark fruits, bourbon, vanilla, oak and tobacco. Bourbon well done. RB KOP has been making very solid beers for over two years now. Well done guys.

On tap at KoP. On Cask. Poured a deeper amberixh color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of bourbon, woody, earthy, dirt, toffee, and some citrus. Tastes of bourbon (stronger than the aroma), woody, vanilla, caramel, and toffee. This one was defintely bourbon aged.

I guess this one was new it literally didn’t have a name yet. Anyway it poured a turbid toast color with about 3/4 of an inch of white frothy head. Aroma was of banana peel, slightly maple syrup, and vanilla extract. However it only tasted like the banana peel and vanilla extract, with a slightly bready background taste. I would certainly not drink this again.
