Aroma typical of a golden ale, toasty grainy malts and light floral hops with the added sweet honey notes. Very sweet flavor, honeyed grains, a little toasty, floral hops sharper and more prominent in flavor than indicated in aroma, slightly astringent. Medium body and prickly carbonation. badlizard (2373), Berkeley, California, USA

Nose of honey and husky malt. A bit hoppy and nutty in the flavor. A bit overdone in bitterness in the finish and a dry mouthfeel. Subpar honey ale, but to take a metaphor literally, isn’t being under par a good thing in golf? And more importantly, where does the par stand on a honey ale?
