Commercial Description:
Light, crisp and refreshing, this beer is brewed in the tradition of the great American Lagers. It is golden-colored, clean-flavored and a perfect companion to any of our salads or lighter foods.

Editor's Note: This is also available at the La Jolla branch.

On tap. Pours with a hazy golden yellow body and a white ring. Aroma of orange and wheat. Taste is wheat, citrus, and orange. A bit fizzy and dry.

On tap at RBLB a few weeks back. Poured a hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma was essentially non existent; didn’t pick up anything at all. Flavor of wheat, citrus and lemon. Flavor was ok, but really could use a stronger aroma.

Poured a hazy golden color with almost no head. Tiny spots of foam drifted down the inside of the glass. The aroma was light tart citrus and thin wheat. The flavor was artificial lemon over a wheaty, cereal like flavor. The mouthfeel was thin but drinkable.

on draft at brewery, consumed on 11/12/07. Cloudy yellow with a nice head. Almost no aroma. No carbonation. Very mild wheat flavor with no yeast notes or hops. Only plus was that they didn’t stick a lemon wedge in it, though that might have granted some additional flavor. Time to move on.

Looks good and a cool name, but a little sweet for the style. Malty sweet, not underfermented or anything major. Orange and coriander are indiscernible.

Whatever. Looks and smells like a Bud Light. The taste is mostly metallic grain with a rice-like aftertaste. Boring.

Sampled at Charlotte Oktoberfest ’04. A standard wheat, though this one was a little bit watery. I’ve been generally disappointed by Rock Bottom brews.
