Commercial Description:
This traditional red ale has a hint of rye malt to add to the body and flavor. It’s great with any of our Brewery Favorites.

On tap a few weeks back. Color was a reddish/orange/brown. Aroma wasn’t too strong; some caramel and earthy/citrus hops. Flavor of brown/red malt, cocoa, and earth. An ok beer.

The pour was a nice ruby color with a solid, two-finger off white head that created good lacing. The aroma was malt, spice, light hops. The flavor was light tart fruit, malt, spice and some dry hops. The mouthfeel was nice and the finish didn’t linger. Not bad.

Very clear malt aroma a nice light red brew a tad dry on the finish may be due to the rye.

on draft at brewery, consumed on 11/12/07. Crystal clear golden brown with no active carbonation. Head is thin skin of foam. No aroma to speak of. Tingly mouthfeel, but only a little generic "malt" flavor and some sweetness. No hops detected. Disappointing.

Nice robustish red ale with enough hop kick to save it from being confused for an alt. Perfect companion for the mahi tacos.

This is my favorite beer when I eat at Rock Bottom, it pours a redish brown color and has a light hoppy aroma. Flavor was bitter, kind of a fruity taste.
