Light aroma, mostly hops. Initial taste was one of hops. Easy to drink, went down smooth, and left no aftertaste, mainly because of the thin body and watery consistency. Not a bad light beer however. This was the first of my tour of the Rock Bottom Brewery. I had to make it a two part tour or else I would not be able to remember what I tasted. GermanBrews76 (667), Eugene, Oregon, USA

To make a light beer like this with no flavors to speak of and no defects is remarkable. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 14, 2003 Gritty and dirty graininess is hard to swallow. Lager like malt sweetness and crispness. Cookie cutter beer for the masses. LaChad (1375), San Francisco, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 7, 2003 Tap at Boston location. Piss-yellow appearance, faint cascade hop aroma. Very MGD-ish graininess in the initial flavor. The lumpy dog retreats with its tail between its legs in a very quiet finish. The glass that this was served in had a crack in it, and so I pointed it out to the waitress and told her that she needed to take the glass into the back and fix it...I didn't even mean it, I was just giving her a hard time, like I do with most women. But because of this she gave me the sampler free!
