On tap in Phoenix, AZ. Clear light golden in colour with a small head. Nice maltyness. Notes of fruits and citrus. Wellbalanced with a light hoppy finish.

tap at the s.denver location. the only reason i tried this was because i have a heterosexual life partner named lumpy. if you put his name on a crappy beer i will try it. extremely clear light yellow body, the real lumpy has an incredibly pale hairy body. snow white fat white head that actually stuck around on the beer. the real lumpy has a thin head of hair that has not stuck around. taste, well, almost none, like a macro but without the metallic chemical finish. the real lumpy has decent taste in art, his taste in music and movies is good, and has good taste in beer, well except for the fact that he likes grolsch. i’d personally rather hang out with lumpy than this beer, but i could be talked into drinking this beer with lumpy just to say i did it. oh, and i got a pint glass with this logo on it for you lumpy.

Bottle from Rock Bottom in Denver: Lightly hazed straw color with a thick and rocky white head that fizzes away quickly. Very little lacing is apparent. The aroma is of weak hops and grass. Light-bodied and fizzy with sweet malt amd slight hops. The finish is bubbly and relatively flavorless. All in all this is pretty typical of the Brewpub Chain Light Lager Style. That is to say: "Eh".

Tasted at the Cincinnati location as "Cincinnati American Light". It is next to impossible to keep all the Rock Bottom beers straight. The beer is a light gold color and mildly fizzy with a thin white head. Light lacing. Faint hops aroma. Light-bodied and crisp, but not much in the way of flavor at all. Finish maintains crisp aspect but doesn't save this rather boring beer.

Corny malt aroma. Clear, very blanched yellow. Underbittered, corny and watery with some tanginess. Next. Cleveland.

Phoenix. Clear gold. Doughy, starchy, light cereal sweetness. Finish is a bit of a mishmash. Needs more something - hops, carbonation or body. Note: 6/27/2008 - Dang, am I good or what. I re-rated at Pittsburgh and got the exact same score.

Draft in Bethesda: Clear colored, small white head. Aroma is next to nothing, some grass. Flavor is next to nothing also as well, I’d stick with some grass and wheat flavors.

Draft... Bethesda location... Clear, straw-colored lager with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is so mild I can barely pull anything from it... maybe some cereal grains. Inoffensive. The flavor is thin, but lightly grainy with some straw thrown in the mix. Light-bodied with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, dry finish.

Denver - Tart appley aroma, with some spicy mustard seed notes. Biscuity malt background, with some zesty citrus hoppiness. Light and watery but not offensive at all.
Earlier Rating: 12/25/2003 Total Score: 1.6
I will just come right out and say it this beer sucked. This is one of those beer that makes you make a face when you smell it and gag when you drink it. Terrible grainy watery flavor with a musty adjuncty aroma.
