Ughsmash (2985), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Mar 5, 2007 On tap at R.B. - Milwaukee (congrats on 10 years!). Poured a hazy deeper burgundy with not much head sticking around. Nose picked up sweet, lightly-toasted darker fruit, caramel, and earthy notes.. very intriguing. Flavor was excellent!.. plum, raisin, and caramel sweetness.. mild earthy and herbal bitterness with complimentary alcohol warmth... a hint of citrus emerged as it warmed up. Little bit heftier than medium-bodied with a nice smooth, calculating flow across the palate. Best beer of the day!
