On draught at the Rock Bottom brewpub in downtown Milwaukee, WI. Pours a clear dark copper colored brew with an average sized beige head that quickly dissipates to a thin off-white ring. Aroma of caramel malt, some fruity notes, floral hops and a touch of passion fruit. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of caramel malt, citrus and floral hops. Finish has a sharp bitterness at first then a semi-dry malt aftertaste that quickly disappears.

On tap at RB – Milwaukee. Poured murky medium brown with a short-lived cap of off-white head. The aroma was sweet with caramel and nutty notes supporting some grassy and pine hoppage. The flavor was sweet overall with a poor contrast between the pine bitterness and candied caramel sweetness.. ugly bitterness rounded out the finish. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation on the palate.. dry at the edges.. raw bitterness and some alcohol on the finish. Not so good.
