On tap at Rock Bottom Milwaukee. Poured deep brown with a creamy, well-retained cap of beige head. The aroma picked up sweet bourbon, vanilla, and toasted caramel accented by peaty smoke and earth.. char emerged as it warmed up. The flavor found chocolate and caramel at the core with tangy bourbon and lesser smoke around.. lots more bourbon and vanilla on the finish.. the barrel impression was too much on the back. Medium-plus bodied, dry, and aggressive on the palate with low carbonation.. off-balance from the barrel, otherwise OK.
