Heavy bodied for this style, but not a major fault. Flavors are distinctively hoppy with a decent undertone of malt to offset the bitterness. Would be a decent session. White bread aroma, maple-leaf hops. Sweet biscuit flavor along with dry grapey hops. An inoffensive yet boring pilsener. I stuck with the IPA. Update: I had the "Riverwalk Pilsener" and felt this was too close to enter it as a new beer. (I haven’t asked them if it’s the same stuff however) The stuff I had was tending towards non-floral green pepper-spicy saaz hops with a cracker malt background. Suprisingly flavorful for a beer that seems to be marketed towards the "lite" crowd. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2004 Sample. Super-light, clear, close to the Light beer in appearance; ok fresh grassy nose, very sweet and up-front, thick body, bitter herbal finiish. Not bad at all.
