Under the name Still Water Stout, dark black color, with a mild roasted, coffee nose, with some notes of black chocolate, and roasted coffee beans, hint of molasses in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a roasted, toasted malt, black coffee character, with a hint of burnt toast, black bitter chocolate, faint floral hop accent, leading towards a roasty, dry finish.

Aug 7, 2007 This is awfully close to an oatmeal Brown Ale. Thin body, sweet flavor, with nearly overwhelming caramel and no taste of dark malts. None whatsoever. I’ll pass in the future.

Jan 19, 2007 Chestnut color with a thin lid of light tan bubbles. Aromas of mild coffee and caramel. Flavors are quite sweet, with quite a bit of caramel. Not much roastiness or dark malts. A drinkable brew, but getting close to a mild.
