red éric (1382), montréal, Quebec, Canada May 23, 2008 Amber-copper color, with a beige head, leaving laces, with a light toasty malt nose, with some mild toffeeness, a faint dark dried fruit accent, and a floral hop note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasted, caramelized malt character, with some earthy grainy cereal accents, with a subtle flowery hop citrusy, leading towards a light lingering hop bitterness finish.
jbuzz (465), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Mar 7, 2008 This is from memory. Raccoon Red started my love of Reds…Full body, slightly sweet and very smooth. Looked great in the glass. It was the red I judged others to. kmeves (986), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA Feb 11, 2008 Pours a clear/amber with a large off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is very subdued of caramel, smokiness and candy. Flavor is very candy sweet, roasted caramel and a very mild celery/vegetal aspect. Creamy texture, small to medium bodied. Not a beer geek type of beer at all. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Nov 25, 2007 Name: Raccoon Red - Milwaukee

JPDIPSO (4233), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Oct 26, 2007 (Milwaukee 1/13/04) Very dark amber color with a minimal amber head. Aroma of caramel malt. Flavors of sweet malt and strong licorice. Too strong in the licorice for me to enjoy this one very much.
