(Milwaukee) 7/14/04. Dark opaque brown with a tiny bobbled thin head. Aroma of Coffee. Flavors of dark chocolate, coffee and a touch of licorice. Finish is fairly dry and a touch astringent

On tap at RB – Milwaukee. Poured clear deep brown with surprisingly little head. The aroma picked up dry-roasted darker chocolates and coffee grounds.. deeper yet was some cola and caramel sweetness.. not much hop influence. Caramel and coffee sweetness in the flavor supporting dry chocolate and coffee bitterness.. the back found a bit of cola.. sweet and simple, but tasty. Very dry and lighter-bodied on the palate with a short finish.. wish it stuck around longer.
