Rock Bottom Munich Gold

Poured into a pint glass fom the tap. The color is gold small white foamy head. The smell is a bit bread in flavor. A slight weat feel to it with a hint of malt. The taste is bitter. Not very hoppy with a what or grainy taste to it. This beer was a lightly carbinated and not too strong. Easy going down but not too flavorful. It did have a bit of a nice smoothness to it that was one of it’s qualities.

Drinkable, clear yellow. Average tasting pale lager. Not much else to say.

Tap at the Boston location: Golden pour with good clarity and a white film of head. Lightly doughy/bready aroma- fairly clean. Light body with soft grains and a bready sweetness. The bitterness that follows is mild and predominately grassy. Boring, but there aren’t any major flaws here.

(11/11/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in King of Prussia. Clear golden color. Aroma of malt and some citrus notes. Sweetish bready flavor with grainy notes and light bitter hoppiness in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Pint glass in Theater District. Ice cold smooth start with a slight carmel taste. Good beer.

tap @ King of Prussia. pours clear gold with a thin white head and tons of lace. aroma of grass, corn, wheat. flavor is light and malty with a bitter back. light and grassy. aftertaste is dry, floral and bitter.

Draft at King of Prussia. Pours golden with a white head. No real discernible aroma. Flavor of European pale malts with a bready sweetness, balanced by some faint herbal hops. Drinkable, but fairly average.

(Draft, Rock Bottom, Boston) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, citrus, and grain. Flavor of grassy hops, citrus, and nuts with a semi-dry finish.
