Copper color with a wispy light tan head. Dry minimal aroma. Sharp bitter/sour flavors. Egad, I'm glad the bartender only gave me a sample of this, otherwise there would have been a trip to the urinal/sink for drainage. chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 25, 2009 On tap at Rock Bottom Boston, October 2009. Darkish amber colour. Served ice cold so difficult to get much aroma and the fact I was harbouring a mighty thirst meant it didn’t hang around long enough to warm up. Some modest hops in the flavour. Clean and dry. Pleasantly drinkable but unspectacular. A fairly typical American Amber in other words.
