Cornfield (4412), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 19, 2008 On tap at the Orlan Park, IL, Rock Bottom: This poured a clear, deep chestnut body with a slender off-white head. It has a toasted grain, malty aroma with a slight touch of herbal hopping. The flavor is caramel and burnt toast with a grassy/herbal bitterness that grows as the drinking progresses. Nice crisp finish, somewhat dry and lightly bitter. A nice job by brewmaster Iain Wilson. dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Aug 9, 2008 pours whiskey colored with a tiny off-white head. mostly air in the aroms. flvor is caramelly amd grainy. fullbodied with a bitter finish. an interesting, if not exciting beer.
