Aurelius (2517), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2008 Not much appreciable aroma. Grassy roast, dry. Black, thin tan head. Leaves a milk moustache. Smooth, non-descript. This brewmaster has got the knack of inoffensive crowd-pleasers down pat.
FROTHINGSLOSH (1560), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 21, 2008 Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark black color with a large creamy tan head that lingered. The aroma was sweet, creamy and lightly roasty with a touch of fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, roasty and milky. The middle was short and sweet and the finish was long, creamy and malty. There was no bitterness and the mouthfeel was nicely thick. Well Done. cheapdark (1655), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 30, 2008 Had this recipe at the pittsburgh location on 6/7/08 and originally filed it under the cleveland location. Beautiful pour. Rolling fun that settles to a fine looking stout. Nice roasty mild aroma. No carbonation, right on stout style. taste is also mildly roasty. Has a mild bitter charcoal linger on the finish.
