Commercial Description:
A classic, flavorful brown ale with a medium-bodied, deep caramel malt character balanced perfectly by a mild, dry hop presence in the finish. Brewed with choice dark Crystal and Chocolate malts. The character is perfectly blended with Golding, Cascade and Mt. Hood hops.

This was the best beer here, but that wasn’t saying much. Floral malt aroma. Dark rootbeer brown, thin lace head. Roast, a little molasses, a little coffee. Dry, nutty chickory. Slightly starchy mouthfeel with a medium body. Fairly well done.

Seemed to me more a stout than a a brown ale. Poured very dark brownish black color with small offwhite head. Roasty malty nutty aroma with a very roasted malt flavor. Smooth finish. Pretty good beer.

Weak malty aroma. Brown ale with good head. Bit carbed, watery. A bit sour with hint of chocolate. OK.

An enjoyable brown ale. Very reminiscent of Newcastle. Nutty and with a light hop flavor. This is your best bet at Rock Bottom.

Nice dark brown, with a bit more hops than some other browns I'm used to. Smooth but a bit watery.
