5oz Taster - Fred Fest 2008 - Hair of the Dog Brewing - Portland OR
Aroma – Strong Bourbon along with tons of hops in the background to add to the aroma.
Appearance – Amber in color, no head and clear.
Flavor – Strong flavors from this brew. Bourbon, hoppy and a great balance with the malts.
Palate – Great Mouthfeel, good texture with a nice hoppy finish.
Overall – A very nice beer this was aged well and the barrel was very flavorful. Loved the bourbon flavors and the fruitiness that came out of the hops. Great stuff.
