Commercial Description:
This robust beer is rich and satisfying, with chocolatey, roasted notes and a smooth finish. This beer is dark, but still very drinkable and is a smooth companion to one of our juicy burgers or steaks.

Tap... Poured opaque, deep brown with amber highlights and a beige head. Aroma of candy, chocolate and malt. Lots of smoked flavors with refreshing malt qualities and a minimum bitterness. A little coffee in the finish. Very drinkable.

Deep brown, almost black, with a thin creamy head. Very hoppy, with flavors of smoky peat and hops dominating. A little thin as well.

Best Rock Bottom so far. Aroma is malty, choc and coffee. Flavor is balanced and very tasty, smooth and clean as most of their brews are.

Draught. Poured black with thin white head no lacing. Malty aroma with a bit of chocolate. Spicy and peppery flavour, not unplesent, but unlike most porters. Peppery finish. It’s hard to rate this, it’s so unlike most other porters.

On tap at Portland location. Dark brown with ruby edges and a white head. Nice aroma of roasted malt and mocha. Flavor has notes of caramel, toffee, roasted malt and chocolate. Finish is expectedly roasty as well. Thin bodied with moderate carbonation. Solid
