Sep 13, 2009 Tap at Bailey’s. Muddy, red-brown with lace. Pungent sour fruit aroma--caramel and cherry. huge sweet-and-sour flavor, with some weird un-Belgian funk, cherries, big sourness. Rather too sweet and unrefined, and a bit weird overall, but decent enough.

Aug 11, 2009 Had this on tap at the 2nd anniv. of Bailey’s Taproom in Portland, OR. Colour... golden-amber. Nose... pungently sour nose then...what the...? Silicone sealant!! Palate... thin, then a burst of airplane glue, more silicone sealant, latex enamel, a wisp of paradichlorobenzene and (thank God!) a very short finish. Had to wait about 20 minutes for my palate to recover, before drinking anything else!!

Aug 1, 2009 Tap @ AnniBrew 2 Barrel Aged Beer Festival... Poured a cloudy orange with an off-white head. Tart, vinegar and mustard aroma. Most notably was the nail polish remover in there. Insanely dry and not right at all. Saltine and mustard flavors with an alcoholic, acetone quality. Stripped the hell out of my palate leaving it very unhappy. I like my sour ales very tart and puckering, but this one was very off.
