duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 15, 2004 Tap@Rock Bottom, Portland. A pretty sweet IPA, little bitterness from the hops, some resiny hops and orangey fruit flavours, but not much else. BückDich (4605), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 8, 2004 Cobbwebby lacing, bronze color, sticky head. Aroma is earthy & musky, light hops but not very clean or PNW inspired. The flavor has a sweet hoppy resin feel but not bitter or hoppy, just dry & tart, some alcohol finish. The dry hopped version of this beer is much better as it has a pronounced hoppy flavor and more grapefruity hops in the nose. More balanced you could say. Score is for the dry hopped version. acrdz (4493), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 14, 2004 Sweet, nut that bitter at all. Smells of orange syrup and not much in the way of hops. Plain and sweet. motelpogo (4124), Plzen, Czech Republic Dec 3, 2004 on tap at rock bottom in portland. lots of sweetness, slightly honeyed aroma, traces of lychee and orange mango cordial, not a lot of bitterness. oh well JoeMcPhee (3899), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Dec 6, 2004 Light amber colour, thin white head. Grapefruity hop aroma, some spice and grass as well. Light caramel malt, hoppy, resinous aroma. Low bitterness. Quite simple beer.
