AxeMaster221 (343), Portland, Oregon, USA Nov 13, 2002 Came a cloudy golden color with a creamy white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Excellent citrusy aroma, and the citrus flavors came through nicely. A nice bitter finish. Very good, and I’m not a big hefe fan. GermanBrews76 (667), Eugene, Oregon, USA Jan 13, 2003 Looks pretty standard. Smells like, well, not much really. Definite zing on the tongue though. Ginger and coriander in there. Pleasant, but nothing special. dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 21, 2008 Cloudy, yellow, good head, creamy look. Banana, little clove, lemon, smooth and very light carb. Nice but nothing special. Schroppfy (1741), Ohio, USA Mar 12, 2004 Growler: My initial reaction was that this was the thinnest wheat I've ever had and it was totally uninticing. Later, with the beer a little colder and the sediment more distributed, it
is much better. Spicy, relatively thin, very much American Wheat in it;s lessened banana, quite crisp and a good bit peppery (that must be the ginger and coriander). Volgon (2463), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 22, 2004 On tap at the brewpub: Light sweet aroma, Hazy/murky amber/orange body with a small white head. Watery texture, starts and ends slightly sweet. Pretty good for the American wheat style.
