RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 8, 2009 Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09 (brewed by the Colorado Springs Rock Bottom). Color is a nice gold with average carbonation and a small tight head. Aroma is spicy with some nutmeg showing and a hint of soy. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish is eggnog like with pumpkin, nutmeg, vanilla and nutty malt flavors. This is a very well done Pumpkin brew. Jethro6191 (18), USA Nov 8, 2009 On tap at the downtown Indianapolis brewpub. Pours orange with a thin white head. Slight lacing. Aroma of pumpkin pie spices, malt, and a hint of hops. The flavors were the same. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Not a bad beer, but it was not very interesting. Basically a mild ale with pumpkin pie spices. TomDecapolis (3128), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 26, 2007 On tap at KOP location. Pours a translucent golden orange with a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of a nice pumpkn pie mix, vanilla and some nuts. Flavor of the same. Well done pumpkin. AllAboutStout (605), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Oct 25, 2007 Pours a dark amber in color with a nice frothy, beige head. Smell is all spice and a little malty. Taste is very nice. Pleny of spice coming through. Not your everyday spices either. I’m getting a lot of nutmeg in this one. Easily one of the best Rock Bottom (Cincy) beers that I’ve had.
They have a new brewer and I hope this momentum continues. JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Nov 26, 2006 Deep amber with a ring of spice on the rim. Very spicy aroma with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice with a sweet malty base note. Flavour is a bit thin unfortunately, but it isn’t bad. Sregnar35 (729), Rotterdam, New York, USA Oct 25, 2006 Poured a creamy orange. Aroma is all pumpkin spice, wow. Flavor is very over the top pumpkin, spice and sweet pie.
