Commercial Description:
Premium British two-row malts give this beer a sweet malty character and plenty of hops give it a crisp finish. Editor's Note: This is one of Rock Bottom's standard brews and is available at many locations.

Brewed at the Campbell, CA location. Medium red color. Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied red. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nicely balanced. Nice smooth taste. A nice red/amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Cask. Dry-hopped with Mt. Hood. Piney dry hop aroma. Muddled grapefruit flavor mingled with straw -- stinging and unidimensional. Good cereal accents but just not enough to provide balance. Thin mouthfeel.

Sample in Milwaukee. Dark amber. Light malty nose, hint of tobacco. Refreshing, clean flavor/mouthfeel, big malt front and piney hop finish; caramel and a bit of honey. Better than most at this location.

The body was a medium amber color. It has the taste of a "generic" macrobrew...kind of like a Budweiser. The flavor reminded me more of a witbier than an amber.

Milwaukee - Large lingering white head over a brown-red beer. Obvious caramel notes, trace of bitterness, some hop character. Nothing special, but no flaws.

(Draught) Pours a cooper color with a small beige head. Descent tasting amber ale.
