Commercial Description:
Premium British two-row malts give this beer a sweet malty character and plenty of hops give it a crisp finish. Editor's Note: This is one of Rock Bottom's standard brews and is available at many locations.

Brewed at the Campbell, CA location. Medium red color. Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied red. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nicely balanced. Nice smooth taste. A nice red/amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Yeast particles hovered and settled in a thick hazed, deep copper brew with a creamy, off-tan head that reduced to a splotchy film and left thick lace. Aroma was lemony & peppery with a hint of green leaves. Smooth & well balanced with hopcit and lemon dominating the finish. Slightly thin but slick mouthfeel.

On tap at Rock Bottom in Bethesda, MD. Pours a nice cherry Kool-Aid red with small light creamy head. Aroma was nicely balanced between malts and hops along with some strawberries and hints of yeast. Taste started with just a bit of sweet malts and finished more strongly with some hoppy bitterness along with subtle tangy yeasty and strawberry flavors. On the thin side.

(Bethesda) Clear copper body with a beige head. Aroma is floral, malty, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, roasty, malty, some floral. Medium body. Very pleasant amber -- good for beginners, and for the rest of us.

tap at brewpub-copper amber with a soapy white head. nice lacing once again from this one. nose is malty with lingering piney hops. flavors are balanced between sweet caramel malts and dry piney hops. well done once again. similar to the pale ale but with more malt presence. finish is sweet with lingering hop accents. very decent and refreshing amber ale.

Indianapolis. Brilliant copper, light nutty-sweet aroma. Nutty/woody exceptionally sweet. Chalky, light cocoa. Nicely balanced, except a little too sweet. Medium body, slight diacetyl finish.
