Had on tap at Rock Bottom Colorado Springs. Aroma is very faint with just a hint of malt. Color is a deep orange/brown with mellow carbonation and a thin but tight head. It starts with a medium body that goes down easy and smooth. Finish is malty with a good hop flavor and mild bitterness. This is a well balanced and very drinkable Märzen.

Rock Bottom La Jolla. Great oktoberfest, refreshing, sweet, and clean, with only the slightest bite. Deep amber in color, with a leafy, malty aroma and malty flavor with perfectly balanced carbonation. Quite a good beer IMO.

On tap in Minneapolis. The abv was listed at 6.2%. The body was deep copper colored with an offwhite head. The aroma was caramel and apples. There was also some hay. The taste was toffee and leathery with some light apple core. ok, but lacks malt backbone even for an Ofest.

On tap at the Long Beach location. The pour was pale amber with a scant white head with no lacing. The aroma was malty, no real spice or hops helping out. The flavor was malt and light spice. Thin, unexciting mouthfeel. Tasted like a microbrew pale lager with food coloring added.

Mug Club Bethesda, MD. Amber color with white head. Caramel Malt flavor with crisp hop finish. This is the beer that first got me interested in craft beers 4 years ago, so every year I make sure I go back for a mug or two.

On tap @ Rock Bottom Westminster poured a clear copper brown with a minimal amber head. Aromas of carmel, toffee and fruitiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, fruitiness and a hint of toasted malt with a crisp lightly bitter finish.

Light caramel malt aroma. Copper amber colored beer. Flavor is caramel maltiness up front with a light to medium hoppy finish. Pleasant and drinkable, but does not distinguish itself from others.
