[From a growler from Rock Bottom in Denver] A red beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast and nuts. The flavor is malty and hoppy combined with notes of caramel and coriander. The end is dry.

Denver
Medium brown colour. Light toffee, heavily fruity aroma. Slightly caramelly flavour, again fairly estery in character. Apricot, red grapes...lager?

On tap at the KoP location. Poured a deep copper/dark brownish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of sweet malts (caramel and some toffee). Bready tasting with caramel. Medium sweet. Thinner body.

Sample at the Chicago location. Quite clear gold-copper, little head retention, touch of lace...very sweet, malty nose, honey mostly with little robust roasty/smoky character...flavor much more interesting, though sweet and syrupy dominates the mouthfeel, a bit of acerbic character comes in later, charred would and light dry herbal hops. OK.
