From tap at the brewpub in San Diego. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp fruity hoppy. Fruity hoppy and smooth flavoured. Light bitterness coming a mild sweet base flavour. Bitter and fruity hoppy finish.

Decent IPA from RB. Pours amber with white head. Bready but has some refreshing hops to balance. A good balanced IPA if that’s what you’re looking for. This does hide the alcohol well.

On draught at the San Diego location. This beer pours a dark orange-amber color with a thin and fizzy off-white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing. Medium body with mildly bitter hops flavors, with malty undertones. Notes of citrus here and there as well. The finish is lightly hopped with a vague spiced and citrusy aftertaste. Just average overall.

Blah. Kind of thin, very little flavor. Not much depth to the hops. Slightly malty but nothing memerable. I’d drink it but there are way better beers out there.

On tap at the San Diego brewpub. Pours reddish amber with a weak white head. Mild carbonation. Weak flavor and body. Almost no aroma. Medium hop flavor. Served ICE cold, but where’s the FIRE? I don’t see how such a lousy beer can even be offered in this beer town.

Draft: Brown color, nose of light grassy hops and caramel. The flavor doesn’t wind up as well and comes across too bitter with a light body and a watery finish. Just doesn’t really do it for me.

(Draught) Pours a clear amber body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of pine, mint, and lemon. Flavor of hops, caramel, and maybe a hint of cinnamon.
