Rock Bottom San Jose St. Nicks Double IPA

A well rounded DIPA. Had this on tap back in 2005, but I remember it very well. Strong hops but not overpowering, alcohol is barely present in flavor, but it’s there, believe me.

1 liter swing top poured a clear golden amber with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, pine, earthiness and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of carmel, sweet malt, light pineand some earthiness with a lingering bittersweet finish.
