Commercial Description:
This medium-bodied, dry Irish Stout is dispensed with nitrogen, for a full, roasted malt flavor. Editor's Note: This is one of Rock Bottom's standard brews and is available at many locations.

(Milwaukee) Very dark brown with a thick, frothy brown head a la nitrogen. Roasted coffee aroma that carried over to the taste. Another very dry beer I had from this brewery. Quite bitter that detracted from the quaffability.

Had this one on tap at the Bethesda MD franchise. Not bad for McBrewpub fare. Dark, roasted, and smooth as a decent stout should be. Maybe on the sweet side, but definitely not a sweet stout. Could have a little stronger malt body. UPDATE 3/6/6: Tried this again at the Bethesda location. It still ain’t much. I detected a faint milky aroma, but the stout was mild, watery and uninventive. An even bigger disappointment.

A nice deep stout. I really need to get back to this bar and do some serious rating on their beers, as all I h ad there were good.

Minneapolis. Typical black color. Coffee, chocolate, and roast aromas. Ditto for the taste. A little sweetness to the taste. A bit watery, but still quite good.

(Bethesda) Clear red-black body with creamy beige head, leaves nice lacing. Aroma is inviting -- milk chocolate, sweet, some roasty. Taste is medium sweet, roasty chocolate. Watery light-medium body.

Nitro'd creaminess and chemical taste that comes along with it. Roasty and bitter, but there' s something taken away by Nitro forcing it!

Milwaukee: Dark reflective black color with a thin brown nitro head. Mild malty aroma. Body is semi-sweet and finishes a little too bitter. Thin, off-balanced and just not quite all-together. I'm really not a big fan of brewpub chain beers.
