Ughsmash (3148), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Nov 19, 2007 On tap at RB – Warrenville. Poured lovely mahogany with about 1” of creamy yellowy-beige head.. receded to a film, and coated the glass as it descended. Sweet Jesus there was a lot of bourbon in the aroma!! .. sharp and in charge along with vanilla, oak, and light peat.. the bourbon was alright, but the underlying beer was nowhere to be found. The flavor picked up baker’s chocolate, vanilla, and strong bourbon upfront with mild oak and bourbon sourness on the tip of the tongue.. burnt dark chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, and cookie dough take over the middle with bourbon and vanilla accents working well.. building bourbon and vanilla along with warming alcohol notes on the back-end and through the finish.. I felt like I drank a huge drink, which I enjoyed. Medium-fuller bodied with just enough carbonation on the palate.. warm, fulfilling feel on the finish.
