drewbeerme (1895), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 4, 2008 draft. pours slight hazed golden with whtie head. aroma is citrusy and bit grassy. refreshing flavors of citrus, grassy, grapefruit. pretty tasty and under-rated. come on guys, is this that bad? hopscotch (4679), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 9, 2008 Draft… DLD’08… Cloudy golden ale with a small, wispy, off-white head. Good retention. The aroma is too restrained to pull much of anything from it, regardless of the beer’s temperature or agitation. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Thin, uninspired and sweet. A touch of grapefruit provides “too gentle” bitterness. Thin, watery finish. Too delicate for an APA! kseecs16 (601), Westmont, Illinois, USA Apr 7, 2008 Not one of their better offerings. The hops are citrusy, but very mild...Mostly just a slightly sweet brew with a hint of bitterness. Drinkable but you would expect more hope forwardness in a pale. Headbanger (1012), Aurora, Illinois, USA Feb 21, 2008 16oz draft at Brewery-An orangish amber body with a huge white head which eits an aroma of citrus, hops, and malt. Taste of hops initially then nothing and it finishes with a dryness and some malt. Not very impressed. troyc (1023), Lubbock, Texas, USA Jan 31, 2008 (Tap) Pours a very light amber color, with decent lacing. Aroma of sweet hops and some light malts as well. Some citrus in the flavor, with notes of biscuit and sweet caramel malts. Could have used more a better body, and a little bit more in the way of hops. Otherwise, refreshing and unoffensive.
