Aroma is very full rye appears murky ruddy brown. Head is foamy off white, nice lacing. Flavor is full malty a touch of dry sweetness, evident rye. Medium smooth silky palate of the cask. A dry crisp style with some hints of chocolate and clove.

Jun 4, 2008 draft. pours hazed brown with off white head. aroma is a bit roasty, caramel, rye. flavors are toasted rye bread, figs. med body. a bit too high carbonation. a nice beer!
