From the tap this poured a clear dark mahogany body with strong ruby highlights capped by a thick, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty and toasty with dark malts and a dark caramell sweetness. It seems just a tad too carbonated to me. Dark stone fruit tastes are added to the flavor alond with a quiet earthy hop bitterness that keeps the sweetness in check.
