Draft... DLD’08... Murky straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. The aroma is all clove, smoke, overripe banana and Hubba Bubba bubblegum. Medium to full-bodied and velvety with almost no carbonation. Sweet, spicy and just a touch acidic. Can’t tell whether there were any hops at all thrown into the kettle. Watery, spicy finish.

On tap at R.B. Warrenville. Poured a hazy pale golden with a healthy white head and thorough lacing. Very nice sweet banana and yeasty notes in the aroma.. citrus twist toward the back-end. Flavor found grainy yeast notes, banana, and sweet bubble gum... lemon zest.. very tasty. Grainy and drier on the palate with ample sweetness. Solid, tasty brew.

From the tap this pours a hazy straw body with a struggling, modest white head. The aroma’s a bit light, wheaty with banana and cloves. It’s more flavorful, wheat, banana, cloves, and a twist of lemon at the finish. The wheat flake taste may be a bit too strong, but it’s quite a refreshing ale.
