Oct 9, 2009 Wow, I was not expecting much form Rock Bottom which goes to show how much I know about them! This was their cask beer at the time and was listed as being brewed with Simcoe hops. I’m not sure if tehy exclusively used Simcoes but it sure smelled and tasted like they did. The color was a pale golden yellow with a white head. The smell was pinecones. The taste was also hardcore pinecones. This could almost be an IPA but not quite. Excellent beer.
